We spoke to Gary Yates of Mouland and Yates about their recent purchase of a press brake and guillotine from Selmach.

What led you to purchase a new machines? What was the challenge or objectives?
These were essential pieces of kit for the factory. We needed them to cope with the additional workload and to give us more scope in terms of what we could do – to increase our capabilities.
How did you hear about Selmach and why did you choose them?
We had one of the brochures posted to us offering the machines. They were a good place to start and we’ve not been disappointed.
What features attracted you to the machines your purchased?
It was mainly the fact that they could work thicker material. The press brake could fold and the guillotine could cut thicker material.
How have you benefited from the machines? Did they meet your expectations?
Yes, they have both been fine. They’ve filled the gap in our procedure and that’s the important thing for us.
Have they helped you save time and increase productivity?
Yes, they’ve definitely helped us to saved time – the guillotine especially.
What are your thoughts on the aftercare and service throughout the process?
Good, fine. They’ve answered any questions we’ve had promptly. Selmach offer a very satisfactory service.
